Temporary Employees Initiative

Thursday, December 14, 2017

If your office has our Radiation Guidelines and Regulatory Procedure Manual® you are aware that Temporary Employees should be trained prior to operating the radiation generating equipment in your facility and they should sign the document provided in your Manual to show competency. OSHA has published several bulletins under the Temporary Worker Initiative. There are currently seven bulletins including: Personal Protective Equipment, Hazard Communication, and Bloodborne Pathogens. If your office employs or plans on employing Temporary Employees, make sure your Officers in Charge of Radiation and OSHA review these documents as a guideline to compliance.
